A dear friend of ours, Maria, is trekking 100km in Cambodia in the coming weeks to raise money in support of the Royal LePage Shelter foundation for women and children escaping domestic violence. We've partnered with Maria to help fundraising efforts, as she is so close to her $10,000 goal. 

100% of the proceeds from the sale of these candles goes towards supporting women and children escaping domestic violence. To dive into specifics, 80% of the money Maria raises goes to Alice House here in Halifax, and the other 20% supports national domestic violence prevention programs.

The labels were designed in partnership with Maria to highlight the goal of her trek—to learn more about the trek and Maria herself, visit her fundraising page linked here.

We are so proud and honoured to be a part of such an incredibly important cause.
